MEET THE
HARRIS FAMILY
Daniel and Hannah fell in love while serving in their college ministry. They were married in 2018 and have a daughter who they adore: Lila Rose Harris. They are stepping out in faith to follow the Lord’s call to plant a church in Denver, Colorado.
Daniel gave his life to Christ at 21 years old. He began serving on staff at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee for ten years. He served as Bellevue’s College Pastor for seven years. He had the blessing of being discipled by Dr. Steve Gaines. Daniel earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis and is now in the final stages of completing his M.Div. at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Hannah gave her life to Christ at 7 years old. She served on staff at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee from 2016-2018. She joined the staff of a large public high school (Bartlett High School) and from 2018-2025 she taught 9th grade English. Hannah has completed her master’s degree in education at the University of Memphis.
“God loves the people of Denver, and we are humbled to be invited in on the work He is already doing in this city. We are praying for souls to be saved, for lives to be transformed, and for more churches to planted.”

Our Journey
to Denver
Daniel and Hannah first sensed the Lord speaking to their heart about church planting on a trip to New York City in 2020. They attended a service at the Brooklyn Tabernacle and during worship they sensed the Lord telling them “there are cities all over America just like NYC that are spiritually dark and in need of missionaries and new churches”. Two months later, the world shut down due to COVID-19. During the pandemic, Daniel and Hannah spent weeks in prayer together over this new burden they shared for the major cities in America. Their hearts were broken over the amount of people who are considered unreached in America.
The following year, the Lord called Daniel and Hannah to begin leading mission trips to Denver, Colorado. After leading four trips over the course of four years and partnering with an amazing church (Riverside Church), they fell in love with the people of Denver and their hearts were broken over the amount of lost souls. The need for new churches to be planted in Denver became abundantly clear.
Daniel and Hannah’s sending church is Bellevue Baptist Church and their resident church is Riverside Church.

"Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us – to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
