Why community is important and why we hope you'll join it and get involved here.
During service your kids will be in our Kids area where they will participate in play bible story time crafts and more. Through meaningful lessons, activities, and worship experiences, our hope is they will learn about Jesus and make friends. Each week, your children will walk through the Bible and see God’s amazing love toward them. We believe every child can understand something about the Gospel.
Riverside Students exists to help students to live the Jesus life. We create environments where middle and high school students can know Jesus, build authentic friendships, grow in their faith, and discover their God-given purpose.

Students meet Sundays at 9 AM and 5 PM.
Serving is part of how we go ALL IN! It just happens to also be a ton of fun! Whether it's serving the needs of our community, serving the Western US, taking trips around the world to make Jesus known, or even to make our Sunday experiences happen, we want you to experience the joy of God using you to make a difference in someone else’s life on a continual basis.

Hey there!
I’m Chris, and I’d love to personally welcome you to Riverside Jefferson Park.
Jefferson Park is one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in Denver, and we believe God has placed us here for a purpose. We love this community, this city, and the people who call it home.
At Riverside, our mission is simple: to lead people to live the Jesus life.
We believe Jesus changes everything. That’s why we’re passionate about helping people abide in Christ, align with His mission, and amplify His gospel wherever they live, work, and play.
As one church in multiple locations, you’ll experience live worship, biblical teaching, and authentic community every week. Our pastoral team teaches live across our locations, opening God’s Word and helping people take their next step with Jesus.

FAQs
Riverside exists to lead people to live the Jesus life. Every week, you will find passionate and authentic worship, gospel-centered preaching, and a vibrant kids ministry. Whether you’ve been around church all of your life or this is your first time stepping foot in a church, you’ll feel welcomed, encouraged, and equipped for your journey.
At Riverside, you will hear music at each and every gathering that is based on God’s Word and focused on God’s character. Our goal is that each and every person present at our worship services would leave with a sense of awe and wonder at the presence of God that draws to worship and reflect on all that Jesus has done for us. We sing meaningful songs with a modern worship style.
At Riverside, you will find our preaching expository in nature and gospel-centered in content, as well as application focused. We focus on simply exposing what the Bible says in each passage while keeping in mind that all passages connect to the overarching story of the whole Bible. In light of this, we want everyone to walk away with practical steps to move forward in their journey with Jesus. The gospel is always the point, and Jesus is always the hero of the message.

Colorado casual is your friend! Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
We’re a gospel-centered community that celebrates the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

Services last about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We start by singing a few songs, then one of our pastors, usually our Lead Pastor Chris Phillips, will deliver a message. If you want a preview of the type of messages we hear on an average Sunday, check out our current series.
